Racehorse trainer, Andrew Haynes, started his career in racing as an apprentice jockey for Jack Holt and Richard Hannon. He has over 20 years experience in all aspects of training racehorses.

Andrew was granted his dual training licence in August 2004. Since then, he has gone on to have many winners, including their stable star, Little Miss Gracie.

The yard is based only a few minutes from Bath, on the Somerset / Wiltshire border. It provides an ideal training ground for racehorses and would be the envy of many, much larger trainers. With all the facilities needed to bring out the best in his horses, Andrew will have many more winners in the future.

Andrew is very keen for all his owners to see their horses as often as they like. If you are looking for a trainer with a personal touch and high degree of hands on contact, then Andrew Haynes is the right trainer for you and your racehorse.

News

The yard had a great year in 2009:

On the flat, the yard had 38 winners and 55 places, that gives a strike rate of about 10%!

Over the jumps, we have had 24 winners and 29 places in 2009, that gives us a strike rate of 22%!

Overall, flat and jumps, we have a strike rate of 13%.

We are all looking forward to an even more successful 2010!

The yard's exciting five horse syndicate, run in conjunction with WCR, is currently signing up syndicate members for 2010. If you would like to become involved in racehorse ownership, with plenty of race days, please contact us or West Country Racing.

Big Yard Gamble

The yard syndicate landed a huge gamble on the 17th of December. Tesserae opened at 25/1 on Betfair, but eventually went off at 5/1 2nd favourite

Everyone was pleased with the result and it ended the year on a real high.
